Hi all, i applied for a grant for help with the advance payment for my next car due in December, they have offered me half the AP which i am so pleased about.

Nice one, the mil has just applied for help with the ap and a scooter hoist.

How much was your ap, out of curiosity? Hers in £495

If you ring up mutability they will put you through to the grants people....They don't have their own contact number...They will then send you out a form...really good though. ....got my decision within a week of posting it out.

It really will I've had to go for an SUV type car due to the height and my issues getting in and out of a smaller car. ...I have a DS3 at the min and love it to bits but it's an arse to get in and out of when you full of fibro and arthritis

That's good so she can buy a scooter to go in the boot. Even the bootable scooters the individual bits are too heavy for them to lift in. So motability are fitting a winch in their next car to lift the scooter in/out

They're having the new citroen c4 grand picasso ordering next week before the prices change on 1st October
