I have been diagnosed with costo, not too sure if I have fibro or not. I think so. Waiting for a chance to get myself up the docs, anyway, I once was sat watching TV with my dad and out of nowhere the tightness right over my heart, couldn't breathe deeply or move. Just hunched myself over and waited for it to go as usually goes within ten mins. But this just went on for ages, hobbled to the kitchen to take ibruprofens, they did nothing. Got very distressed and started crying from te pain which only makes it worse. The pain that time lasted all night. Could barely sleep, couldn't move or anything. Costo is horrible. You just need to keep calm and breathe shallow until it passes. Ibruprofen helps. :). Emily

I get chest pains, too.... but that's all I can say: as I don't know what will help it, lol.... I just get through it and carry on where I left off   Had nurses say they are anxiety / panic attacks.... but as well as my illnesses, I've been through a lot of ****, too.... but things are better in that respect now... still get the pains.... just put it down to fibro....

i have had that chest pain its scary one min you are sitting or lying there then u think your having a heart attack i went to my gp who sent me the hospital and got checked out but everything was ok but it happened more frequently with sweats and shaking now they say its panic attacks to which i have been referred to a team who specialise in retraining the mind ( personally 1 step away from the puzzle factory ) I'm now waiting for a appointment after having a 30 min phone call from them. ill keep you all informed.
