Having pain on my left side working it way round to my back . Symtoms are throbbing stabbing numbing pain. Had it a while now and is painful when i sit down or lie down. Anybody got any ideas or anyone has the same problems

I've had stabbing pains in my side and chest. They do go off eventually. I found the best way to deal with them is to stay as relaxed as possible and keep warm. Try not to let the exercise go and then when I am resting I stretch out on the settee under a couple of fleece rugs with a hot water bottle. Having been told that Fibro causes these sorts of problems but they aren't causing any damage to the body I made up my mind I have to get on with what I want to do and relax in between. Initially I thought I was having a heart attack.

I get the same as you but in my right side. My G.P. said it was a muscle spasm.
