My hairdresser gave me a lovely new haircut but also she gave me her cold.

Here's a recipe for a delicious and effective sore throat remedy

I've used hot lemon and honey for many, many moons. For the aches that can come with colds, taking paracetamol with it can help too. I've given it to my son from him being young. My Nan always added a good slug of whiskey or brandy, esp at night, she said it helped her sleep like a baby xx

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either

If you have no fresh lemons to hand.....hot lemonade and honey is very soothing for your throat, if feverish also, take paracetamol....you have then got something that is very close to Lemsip, which are quite expensive......my Mum used the homemade recipe on us for years.....well I don't think Lemsip was around when I was a child......# showing my age now lol
