Postby Patsb » Mon May 25, 2015 12:37 pm

Has anyone tried this? A friend recommended it but I've never heard of it. Willing to try anything tho I've been in such pain last 2 days.

No, I've not heard of it. I use Algesal on my joints and find that helps a bit. I get it on prescription.

I love it. It stays in my handbag at all times. Much better than all the pain meds my doctor has me on. You can get it in most chemists & supermarkets. I use the gel, never tried the roll on x

I have just posted on another thread re Bio Freeze.

I know everyone is different but after using this once, I would never use it again. My Dad uses it a lot for his aches and pains but it made me worse.

I don't suffer as badly as many of you but had a flare up when I went on a break to London. I was on the go from home on a very early flight and didn't really stop travelling and trekking around shops, etc for about 12 hours at which point I became very ill - exhausted and in pain. I used Bio Freeze which actually made me much worse, shivering cold and I needed to wrap up in layers and two duvets. It took me hours to start feeling a little bit normal and not so cold. I have never suffered so badly with symptoms.

Yes Yes Yes, I use it loads and it's fab.
I first had it in the states about 8 years ago and I have used it ever since.

The brilliant thing is that after a few minutes the smell disappears so you don't smell like an old lady all day.

It doesn't stain or mark clothes or bedding and just washes off skin easily.

But the best bit is that it really does ease away pain and stiffness, it makes sleep easier because of my knees and back and I have used it on almost every bit of me over the years.

The roll on is easiest to use I find as the gel isn't very sticky and the spray I didn't get where I needed it.

Please try it I am sure you will find it beneficial.

Fingers crossed for you xxx

I use it on my lower back, you can also buy it in big patches that work for hours.

I also use magnesium oil from holland and Barrett - it's £12 a bottle but it works.
