stiffness & other issues

Postby tabithakat64 » Tue Oct 27, 2015 2:31 pm

Recently the stiffness painful heavy feeling I get in my legs, buttocks and lower back has been very bad. Some days I'm struggling to walk and sit unaided as its so bad.
How does everyone else deal with this?
Do any of you take muscle relaxants? Do they help?
How do you cope? I'm finding using as stick is not enough
Also it means I'm no longer aware of when I need the loo and am leaking urine almost constantly - am getting to the stage where tena is not offering enough protection at present. where do I go next - I already take vesicare and lopermide.

You need to get an appointment with ur GP asap!!
If u suffer with back problems and u loose control of ur bladder then I would speak to ur GP .
In 2008 I started to suffer the same as u, my GP said if it affected my waterworks or bowels then I needed to either see a GP or go straight to A&E, which I did, I went in about by 9.30. By 5.30 I was going into theatre in another hospital as I had a condition called cauda equina. It also happened again in 2010.
Now u might have something different so don't panic but I would see ur dr to rule this out. Please let me know how u get on x
