back pain - just a pulled muscle or something worse?

Postby animeemo3 » Thu Mar 31, 2016 11:18 pm

I've had a back problem for a few weeks now. I've got an excruciating pain in my lower back (basically, where the dimples are, right in the middle over the spine, not the sides) that happens whenever I lean forward, try to lift my legs, try to stand up straight ect. The top of my bum is always numb but at the same time painful with shooting like pains. It's worse when I try to sit in a chair. I know I need to get into a doctor's, but it's a few weeks wait. No recent accident or anything like that. It's not the sides of my back, it's right in the middle. Could it still be muscular?

Hi, if you have numbness this could indicate a disc problem, I would pop to A&E if your GP cant see you. Hope it improves quickly.
