PIP decission

Postby galio » Fri May 20, 2016 12:15 am

well finaly got my PIP assessment and the decision came in and as expected said no, so I have asked for a mandatory reconsideration and am getting ready for an appeal as I havent heard of anyone that has got the decision changed at the mandatory stage. I am lucky in that as my son has been through this twice once with DLA and again when they changed him to PIP I have the charity that helped him on standby to help me with mine. this is going to take another 4 months i would imagine as i took the month offered to get my letter sorted and any new medical reports etc for the reconsideration then it can take up to 8 weeks for that to happen and then it can take ages for an appeal date I wil be lucky if i get through it buy christmas if it all goes to the longest allowed!
