Can't remember words for things - I refer to them as "thingmies".

After searching again realised they never existed. Though I had 5 of the plain ones when in fact I only have 3 which were all accounted for.   :teddy-bear:

You are looking for your cell phone while it is in your hand...

Just did that yesterday and my daughter thought it was hilarious....it is, but a sad state of where our minds go sometimes. xx

I once spent 20 minutes looking for my phone coz I heard a text coming through - it was in my hand the whole time. Only realised when I asked my other half if he'd seen it and he told me it was in my hand

I nearly put the cutlery into the washing machine once!

Well it would have cleaned them!

Hi All,

I was at the hospital the other day for an appointment and after coming out I had to have my blue badge validated in the main hospitals entrance reception area.

I gave my badge to the receptionist and she gave it straight back to me after validating it....I stood there with my husband for what it seemed like for 5 minutes and my husband asked the girl if she handed the badge back to me as my husband asked me if she had returned it to me and I plainly said to him "no"....the girl, understandably, stared at both of us very confused...I was holding the badge in my left hand all the time lol!

I quite rightly apologised to the girl and all I could say was "oh silly me" and walked away feeling rather embarrassed with a red face  Needless to say, my hubby was cracking up hysterically with laughter.

Ah, if only the ground could swallow me up sometimes ;-)

While wearing my gorgeous black, soft and furry dressing gown I wanted to say that I needed a pair of fluffy mules to go with it. Instead out popped "fluffy muffins"  :yikes: :teddy-bear:
