Weight Loss

Postby LindyM66 » Thu Aug 04, 2016 6:56 pm

Since changing my pain meds at the end of February, to Tramadol, I became aware of a marked reduction in my appetite. I eat my meals, but no longer snack on allsorts. I commenced Gabapentin about 3 months ago, and after reading numerous posts, and other info, was expecting for a bit of weight gain. Nope! I've noticed the weight loss on myself, as have my colleagies, and my clothes are baggy ish. I weighed myself today - something I don't do, as I have no interest in that. Since my Rheumatolgy appointment in April ( where they weighed me), I've lost a stone and a half!

Has anyone else experienced weight loss on the meds, or am I a freak :-)?

Much Love

Claire, I eat like a horse in the morning. I'm always starving when I get up.
Tramadol can suppress the appetite, so I've read - so that's probably the cause of the weightloss.

I ain't complaining :-)
