Traveling with Fibro

Postby Jazin95 » Fri Oct 21, 2016 10:59 am

Hello group,
Well, as the title suggests I want to talk about my experience traveling. I recently flew from Sydney to Brisbane to catch up with family and wow how little I enjoyed that flight. I was in the cattle class, right at the back of the plane, zero leg room and squished against the window and a random stranger (they were nice). By the end of the flight I was in a fare amount of pain then I had to drag my 20kg bag and and carry on.

So what are your experiences of traveling? Do you have any tips or hacks or even advice?

This year we stayed in the UK and took a few short breaks. Plenty of pit stops on the journeys to and from destination and lots of coffee breaks during the days. Really tried to pace myself.

We did have Frankfurt booked but the thought of getting to airport parking, airport, baggage drop of, security, waiting to board then being in a cramped seat and all to be repeated another 3 times. Nah better to loose some money.
Maybe next year.
