Self pacing/ Routine

I wonder if anyone can help. I work 2 days per week and feel I need to have 5 days in between to recover.

Does anyone else feel they need this?

I can only take stronger medication at weekends because they make me so drowsy and I have to be up in the morning for the school run etc...

I work the 2 days together so I can then pace myself over the next five days however work have asked me to consider 2 days work, 2 off and 2 days work again... which I know will be detrimental to my health.

I am left trying to prove why I need the 5 days off to recover.

Can anyone give me any guidelines.

Not sure there is any guidlines for employers but im wondering if your work has an occupational therapist? They can review your circunstances and give you the chance to explain your health and working conditions plus how and why you need 5 days off to recover. I hope this helps.
