I'm so pleased that you've got going as a quilter. I have such fun playing with colours and turning them into things for the family. I've found lots of friends among quilters and really valued the quilt groups I joined. Good luck with it all. Sewing is a brilliant diversion from pain.

Thanks Annet, I think you are right about the diversion from pain , the quilting day I did was great fun and I stuck with it evn though I was feeling very rough after an hour or so . I was in bed for nearly a week afterwards but would still say the few hours learning new skills was worth it . When sewing in the house I now try and judge it a bit better and would try not to over tire myself , can't say I am always good at judging it though it as sometimes you just want to finish just a little bit more !
