Just a doodle

This is just a doodle I did last week, another example of drawing purely from one's imagination. As I mentioned in my pyrography post, here is an example of how to just have fun, no stress at having to get it photo-realistic, just scribble away at whatever comes into my head. I so often notice how amateurs take hours to carefully copy a few lines from a photo, when simply diving in and letting oneself go with a pencil saves a lot of grey hairs. This is especially true if one has deep depression like I do. So now whenever I meet my creative brick wall my motto is getting to be "GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND DRAW, ANDREW...NO PAIN, NO GAIN!"

I believe a certain artist named Lowry made a fortune out of painting stick men. No one thought he would become famous and so much appreciated. He certainly had more success than I ever did!
