I have read quite a few horror stories on here re home medicals etc., but mine couldn't have been nicer. I had a lovely, quite elderly Doctor do my examination in my home.
They ask you questions about what you are able/not able to do, ask about what medication you are taking and do a general examination with your clothes on. It was during this examination that he pressed the trigger points, none of my GP's have ever done this test. I would say it was pretty obvious by my reaction what was wrong with me.
I have been awarded HRM and LRC.

Home all goes well for you x

 Hope that the medical goes ok for you tomorrow. Fibromyalgia and ME are closely linked in terms of that they both share similiar symptoms. So it is hard to know what is what, if that makes sense. I know that some people with fibromyalgia can suffer with ME, especially those who have more moderate to severe cases of fibromyalgia....Have you ever been referred to a pain clinic, chronic fatigue specialist or rheaumatologist? I know when I went to my GP, she said that more then like I have fibro as well as chronic fatigue syndrome....But the pain management team as only put fibro on my files......Hope all goes well. Take care and all the best. :fingerscrossed:
Sick of being sick, if you know what I mean. Anger keeps me going! I love campaigning for the rights of those with hidden disabilities. Enjoys talking to other like minded people - well, if you are sane, anyway :)

Appeal the decision that has been made. If you can, get help from CAB, DIAL, Welfare Rights or other similar organisation, they may even be able to represent you if it goes all the way to tribunal.

With you saying this, are you still paying full prescription charges for your meds?? If so, this could be useful to you and save you a considerable amount of money over a yearhttp://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/1127.aspx It can be paid by direct debit over 10 months if you apply for a 12 month one.
