I got my appointment through, for sept. what sould I expect when I get there? how long is the appointment?

It's difficult to say how long your appt will be as that all comes down to the person you see, the info they have about you and how you are affected, if they think more tests are needed etc etc.

As for what could happen during your appt, again it's difficult to say as they all seem to have their own way of dealing with people. For a very general idea tho, this linky might be worth a bit of a looky viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17527

I was in an hour with specialist,she gave me a good examination,she then sent me for bloods and a X-ray.

I was not in very long with my Rheumy, I had seen him 6 months before with the same problems, he had already given me a check over.
He checked my arms and leg joints before to rule out arthritis.

This time he just asked questions and pressed a pressure point on my back/neck to which I let out a loud ouch and he said "did that hurt" :twisted: then he told me I had Fibro, gave me a leaflet and told me to go home and get my head around it and he sent me on a living with pain course. :roll:
