Telephone appointment .. Pain clinic

Postby kazisedso » Tue Sep 17, 2013 4:12 pm

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok. :-)

I have a telephone app with pain clinic consultant, to see how I am doing on gabapentin ( hate it! Side effects not good!) etc.

I have really bad pain and aching in my lower back... Have mentioned it before.... Was just wondering if I should ask the consultant about trigger injections just in this area?

Tramadol, paracetamol and gabapentin are not touching this pain, and despite physio and tens machine I struggle to walk and stand and I really do wonder if trigger injections could possibly help??
Any thoughts?
Thanks

You've nothing to lose by asking about them, the worst that can be said is that they're not suitable for you to have. And you never know, the answer could be yes :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
