Melatonin & sleep

Postby Misscheekywalls » Tue Feb 18, 2014 4:57 pm

Hi guys
Could anyone tell me if they have tried melatonin??
I've spoken to a friend GP and he mentioned trying this for 3 months this could help restore my sleep pattern.
If no improvement stop!
Nothing lost!
But my own GP said no!!! Not licensed for adults....but we can buy this as a health supplement as it's found in some foods.
Anyone on this??? Or tried this??
Thanks x

Hi

I have tried melatonin I didn't find it helpful and am now on circadin which contains melatonin and I find it helps but I still only get 3-4 hours broken sleep.

Hi Lou
Thanks for your reply
I'm in the process of trying to find out what will work but I guess it's trial & error
How much circadin can you take??
