Should I change Doctors?

Postby FrenchJan » Sat Aug 22, 2015 9:44 am

My last 3 appointments with a Doctor have been telephone appointments. I'm finding this system frustrating. I hate telephone appointments, the line is usually faint and what I want seems to get lost along the way. Yesterday, I really wanted help with pain management and ended up being prescribed antidepressants and told to call back in 2 weeks. I have tried searching though the other local surgeries but none of them say what their Doctors specialise in. How Can I find a Doctor that specialises in CFS/Fibro - is this possible.

What about ringing or going into the other surgeries and asking?? You could ask if they have other patients registered with FM, CFS/ME or other similar conditions, and if they do, ask if there is a particular GP that tends to see such patients or has an interest in such conditions.

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either
