I have an excellent Doctor in Burton

Postby Arnu » Fri Feb 06, 2009 6:16 pm

My Doctor (GP) has been excellent in dealing with me he is very honest about how much is known about our condition but he helped me bring forward my appointment with the specialist.

And the really nice touch is he leaves his door open so I don't have to knock (I am extremly sensitive to pain - some days even the lightest touch can be extremly painful)

He is based in Burton (Not sure what details I can put on here so please PM me if you wish to know more details).

How uch does he think is known about Fibro? because actually it's quite a lot. If he admits that he doesn't know much about it, that's a good start in my book.

I get the impression that he is spending some of his time looking in to knowing more about FM he seemed to know more each time I have seen him and the most important thing is he has taken me seriously (his predecessor did not - especially in the last couple of months before he retired).
