I live in Nottingham, anyone else here??? Just finding out if any of you in Nottingham see a particular pain specialist?
Do not let anyone say you are imaging it, you know differently

Hi both - I'm on the Notts/Derbys border, am not diagnosed yet, but due to see the pain management clinic at Notts City Hosp in December (am currently under their care for another issue which may o rmay not be related).

I'm near Newark, used to live in Nottingham so know the area (and QMC) well!

Hiya, I'm also inbetween Notts and Derby. There is a support group that meets at Nottingham City Hospital, someone sent me info on another forum if anyone wants the details.

Hi only lived in nottingham 2.6 years moved up from london, what a place this is. On a positive note I was unable to get a diagnosis in the south, here I have seen prof Docerty [spelling again] at the city hospital who spent hours with me then sent me away unable to help me. My doc who is new is catching on quickly and has refered me to a gym, which I am to ill to attend would love to go swimming but frightened the water might be to cold [had a dream to swim the channel] The council has installed a 24hr help box with the red button round my neck, and I recieve 15 hrs of home care, they also got my DLA was turned down 5 times, My MP Graham Allan is useless, and the coucillors will not visit me either, I have a charity speaking up putting their compliment slips in with my letters etc. I have had an email from David Cameron. I have every team thats anyteam in ss ringing my home, no one comes over the doarstep unless they have knowledge of fibromyalgia and its effects, their ignorance is not bliss for me :police:

Hello all

I've only just joined so this is a late reply. Also in Nottingham (on the outskirts - approx 15 miles out - have difficulty travelling so wouldn't be able to get to the city) - does anyone know of any support groups in the ashfield/eastwood area please?
