got the results of the biopsy

Postby ellen b » Tue Jun 23, 2009 10:29 pm

Hi, I went to the hospital today to get the results of the colonoscopy biopsy. Dr said along with IBS I now have mild colitis.
She then sent me off for more blood tests, I think they must have enough of my blood already but they needed more :0(

Hopefully they wont find anything else, lately I seem to go in for one thing and end up with something else aswell, next appointment is with Haematology to check ITP is in remission and how high/low iron count is.

Take care & gentle hugs to all. :hugs:

 bye for now

Hi ellen

:hugs: :hugs: sorry to hear you have something else on top of the fibro :( I guess the only positive (??) thing is you can now get help to ease the sypmtoms of the colitis. I know that isn't really a positive though.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that the rest of the bloods are normal and the ITP is in remission (not sure what that is, so gonna look it up!).

I personally think the doctors are supplying vampires with our bloods - every time you go you end up giving them at least 6 bottles! Thank goodness we are able to replace our own blood supplies! I do feel sorry for your arms though - they must be bruised and very sore :(

gentle hugs for you :hugs: :hugs: xx
