Mental Health Team

Postby *Lisa* » Sat Aug 08, 2009 12:18 pm

Yes im officialy nuts

I have an appointment Wednesday for an assessment and wondered if any of you have been to see them?

I have had CBT & hypnotherapy & councilling :yikes: but have found these past few months that im getting very angry & frustrated with the FM & anxiety.

Im not sure what sort of help they will give but i do know i need constant support a sort of top up so i dont go back.

These therapies i had been thro were great and a huge help at the time BUT i cannot afford to top the therapies up meaning i slowly go back to square one.

So a support person of some kind for now and future....

My friend has been (I've taken her to make sure she goes  ) although I've never been in with her obviously, I think it's all a question of getting the right person. You've taken the first step yourself by asking for help and wanting to change things. Hopefully you'll get someone who will support you and be there if you need them.

Unfortunately my mate keeps giving up... she tells them she's fine and they believe her  even though she's manic depressive and her tablets don't work... she gets the downs but no ups  But if you are willing to work through it they should be willing to help.

Good luck, so glad the appointment is through ((xx)) :hugs:
