I have been to the dr's today

Postby natjoshlib » Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:19 pm

Hi everyone

I had a dr's appointment today as the pain levels were increasing and i wasn't coping on what I had.

The dr was very helpful, he increased my patches to a higher dose. I also asked to refer me to a different specialist who deals with Fibro and he done that for me there and then and i have an appointment for end of september.

I also heard from DLA the other day saying they were waiting to hear from my dr still, so asked him and he sent it back last week and and reccommended that I needed DLA. He also said that if i get refused to appeal and he'll write me a letter to take to appeal court.

I actually feel quite alive at the moment, what with my new found freedom on my scooter and hopefully moving things forward to make me more comfortable.

I am not expecting miracles just a slighly happier lifestyle.

Wishing everyone else a good day xxx

It does help to have a good GP who is on your side.
Good luck with your happier lifestyle.
