Hi.
My name is Tina.
My doctor has finally agreed that i probably do have fibromyalgia after i have been asking her for months if this is what it could be.
I am a divorced mum of 4 with only 1 left at home, who i might add is not very helpfull and understanding.
I have had the worst 3 weeks ever with pain everywhere, neck, shoulders, arms, back, hips, knees and feet. Chronic headaches/migraines and exhaustion and have spent the best part of 2 out of 3 weeks in bed.

My problems all started way back, i would say 7 years at least.
4 years ago i was told i had carpol tunnell due to numbness and pain in my hands. I had both hands operated on an it made no difference. I was refered to neurologist who then said it was due to narrowing of the cervical spine. I had an operation for that, which i may add was very very painfull, last june and again has made no difference.

Finally we are getting somewhere. I fitted the criteria for fibro. My GP has sent me for heaps of blood tests to rule out anyting else and i am now waiting to be refered to fibro clinic at local hospital.
Finding this site has been a blessing an can't believe how common fibromyalgia is.

Thanks for reading my story
Tina xx
