hi all hope ur all ok. could anyone tell me if they've got ibs, an if they av when they get a bad bout is the fibro worse :?:

Yes I have IBS, it doesnt make the pain from FM worse just adds to the pain :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave:

I find it the other way round. When fibro is bad I take more pain killers which makes the ibs worse!

I've just noticed that you are hypothyroid, so am i.

It's really important to make sure your thyroid levels are ok as if not it will make fibro/me much worse. I never just accept anymore that my test is 'normal' i make sure I get the exact results. I need my TSH to be under 1 and most people feel better with a TSH of under 2 but the Docs consider anything up to 5 to be ok!
