Postby jennishead » Wed Jan 04, 2012 1:42 pm

Hi I have just been diagnosed with fibro after several years of pain. I really need help with a symptom. All my muscles when I use them even on something as light as picking up a tea towel hurt I used to describe it as lactic acid build up but my doctors look at me bemused, is this due to the fibromyalgia or is it something else...

Hi Jennishead and :welcome: to the forum, it sounds like an FM symptom but we are not health professionals and therefore cant say for sure it needs to be confirmed by a doctor. Have a look round the site and I'm sure you'll find other descriptions that are the same as yours

:welcome: to the forum jennishead

There is a lot of advice on here, as well as info that you may find useful.

The symptom you've described may well be FM related, but as Denys has said, we can't tell you that it definitely is. For that you need a medical bod I'm afraid   If you feel your GP isn't really helping, is there another at your surgery you could see??

Anything you want to know about, just ask and we'll see how we can help you with it

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either
