:welcome: to the forum shirleyelaine

Sorry to hear you've been told you have FM :hugs: How you're feeling at the moment is quite typical when you've been given your diagnosis.

There is a lot of info and advice on here that you might find useful. We also try to help and support each other with what comes along with FM.

If there's anything you want to know about, just ask and we'll see how we can help you with it

Hi Shirley,
Welcome to the forum!,
I was diagnosed last year after years of pain and fatigue,i still get moments when I think the docs have got it wrong though.
I think it takes a long time to accept this illness.
There is an amazing post somewhere on the forum called

Fibromyalgia stages of grief

it sums up how we go through the different emotions,it might help you to read it.
Take care
