Hello from a Newbie

Postby NettyG » Tue Mar 06, 2012 12:56 pm

Hi

I have just finally been diagnosed with Fibro...........actually a relief really. I became really ill in Jan and it turns out i had caught "Slapped Cheek" from my daughter (from school) . So who knew slapped cheek had not complications unless you had something like Fibro.............

Well at least i know i am not making it all up!

So i want to be as well as i can be, any hints and tips would be very welcome.

I am trying PowerPlate excercises and hope to start Pilates as soon as i can

Thanks

:-)

Hi am new to forum as well. Just got told 2weeks ago i have fm.

How do you find using the powerplate? I started going to aquafit, its really good. I didnt feel like i was doing exercise and it help me sleep at night (which is not a common thing for me) Mind you my class started at 7pm till 8pm i was sleeping by 830pm lol.

Iam stuggling to get my head round it to be honest. Would be nice to have a new friend to talk to, that can understand what am talking about.

Also be good to get ideas to help maintain the pain so everyday dont feel like a up hill struggle
