Hello all....

Postby jimbo101 » Sun Jul 01, 2012 8:59 am

My name is Jamie and I have been suffering with FMS for about 8 months and was diagnosed 4 months ago. I have also suffered from depression since early 2009. I have two wonderful daughters a very supportive wife and a new baby due at christmas!

I am an ex-teacher (never going back!) and am currently unemployed but desperately looking for a new job/ career which I can physically cope with! I am struggling to come to terms with my physical limitations as I have always been a very active person.

Looking forward to meeting other people.

:welcome: to the forum Jamie

Congratulations to you and your family on your upcoming nappy event :blowkiss: :blowkiss: :blowkiss:

You're in good company now you've found us, there's lots of advice and support on here, covering all sorts of subjects. If you want to know about something, all you need to do is ask, there's a good chance that someone will have some suggestions for you

Finding it difficult to manage with the changes FM causes is something most of us have experienced :( :( It can seem impossible to move on from it at times, but with a bit of trial and error it is possible to get thru it to the other side.

You're in a bit of a minority on here, as FM seems to affect us females more than you males of the species. There are a few men who use the forum tho, so you're not completely alone, plus we do play nice most of the time, so you'll be fine

If I didn't say beforehand, there is a bit of      on here as well, it can help make you feel a bit saner sometimes :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:
