Young men with FM

Postby Graham2304 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 9:23 pm

Hi all

I am a 27 year old man and been told that this makes condition unlikely by last doctor. My new doctor diagnosed it on first appointment. Just what to feel like not only young man with condition. Is there a "brother in arms" out there? Graham

Hi Graham, I'm not a male but there are quite a few on here, hopefully they'll be alone soon to introduce themselves, so for now :welcome: to the forum  and you definitely arent the only one :-D :-D :-D

Hi Graham and welcome, im not a "brother in arms" more like a "dad in arms" (getting old  ) but we are still a rare breed

Have a good read arround the forums to find out who's who and learn a bit more about fibro and then get started on posting :-D :-D

:welcome: to the forum Graham  I'm not a "brother~in~arms" I'm afraid, and I'm probably a bit too old to be a "sister~in~arms" as well    You're definitely not on your own tho

It is rarer for the male of the species to have FM, however there are a number of regular brothers/dads/grandads~in~arms on here, so hopefully they'll be able to offer you some male~specific FM advice. Plus the rest of us will try to help you with anything else you may want to know about as there is a lot of info and advice across the forum

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either
