Hi Newbi to site

Postby romany65 » Sat Sep 22, 2012 3:20 pm

Hi all, :-) I have recently been diagnosed (although suffered for years!).with Fibromyalgia, Hyper-mobility syndrome and Crohns. I also have been Hypothyroid for a number of years. I struggle with Mobility as my Feet, Knees and Hips are mostly affected. I use a walking cane and also have a travel wheelchair for the really bad days. I try to remain positive and have recently joined WW to finally get the weight gained through thyroid problems off. I live on the South coast near Brighton. I have difficulty taking Anti imflammotories due to Crohns, so would welcome any advice to alternative's. Also if there are any fellow Fibro's near me lol.

Hi & :welcome:

I have been stripped of my anti-inflammes as well but due to GERD/ulcer and im suffering well because of it yet the doctors havent given me an alternative.

Maybe a herbal remedy or a change in diet as i know there are alot of foods which help inflammation

just one of many websites offering info on the foods
