Hey Guys

Thought id come and introduce myself. Im Maria but most call me Ria im 29 and currently live in Nottinghamshire. Ive been diagnosed with M.E and Fibromyalgia for 6 and half years now and its been a rollercoaster. My health has been very up and down as Im guessing everyones is. I used to work as a manager of a travel agency but had to give that up when getting ill which was very very hard. Since then I have been studying with the Open uni at home but that is currently on hold as my fiance and I are expecting our first baby on the 8th Jan 2013, we are having a little boy and calling him Harrison Alfie, we are super excited but super nervous too. Since getting pregnant my health improved and I heard that is quite common with fibro patients but now we are getting towards the end its all hittig me hard again and the pain is awful to the point I spend much of my time back in bed now.

I really look forward to hearing from you all soon and would love to hear anyone else's experiences o pregnancy and birth if you have been in that situation too with fibro.

xx

:welcome: to the forum Ria and congratulations on your upcoming nappy event, hope he's a real bouncing ickle bubba when he arrives :blowkiss: :blowkiss: :blowkiss: :blowkiss:

There's lots of info and advice on here so have a look and a read as you find your way around. If you do a forum wide search for pregnancy it should throw up some posts and topics that you might find helpful.

Quite a few peeps have said about their symptoms and problems easing right back during pregnancy, and for a while after giving birth. Maybe once he's arrived and you're not carrying as much weight, there may be some improvement in things again for you.

Just ask if there's anything you're wondering about, we happily share our stories and experiences, as there might be something in them that can help someone else :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:
