New member - not very computer confident

Hello everyone. I live in Dorset. I am a single parent(divorced after 22 years) of 4 children. I also have Addisons (both adrenal glands removed) and surprise, surprise Depression.Have felt ill and tired for many years but being a single parent of 4 seems to have got in the doctors way as they kept fobbing me off. Am relieved that all my tiredness and aches and pains are at last being acknowledged. I am not very computer confident so I hope this posting is in the right place to say Hello.

Hi Vivaldi, to the forum.
I know what you mean about 'Single mother syndrome', I erm, suffered with that until I put my foot down, demanded to see specialists and was diagnosed with osteo arthritis in the spine, neck, hips and shoulders. I was told I had F/M 8 years ago but have been suffering with it for 18 years. I also have under active thyroid.

I hope you find your way around the forum. I had only jut started using a lap top when I first joined, but I soon got the hang of it.

There are plenty of friendly folk on here who can help with advise, just be there when you want to have a rant and have a good laugh too. Take care and chat soon. Sue. X

Hi and welcome... I am relatively new here myself (after years of lurking)... but everyone here is friendly and helpful. So sorry that you have had to join us, but I understand how much of a relief it is to finally have a diagnosis

You've got your intro post in the right place to say Hello Don't worry about not being pooter confident, we understand that it can take a while to find your way around the forum, esp when you're looking thru all the info and advice, so if you post something that might be better suited to another board, either me or another of the mods will move it so that hopefully you'll get some useful replies If there's anything you're unsure of to do with how the forum works, what you can do on here etc, you can either ask a general question about it or send a message to one of us and we'll try to help you with it.

Anything you want to know about how you're being affected FM or associated/other conditions~wise, you can either have a look for topics on it or post questions about it. With all there is on here, there's a good chance someone will have had a similar experience so hopefully we can come up with some helpful advice for you

Hello again and thank you for the welcome
I have had a quick look at some of the posts and already I can identify with the teeth. When I can get to the computer without any sons or daughters demanding I shall have a good read. It's good to have all this support out there. Thank you
