My doc a few weeks ago scared me by telling me she and the Neuro thought id got ms!
She told me while holding my hand at time and said while waiting for results if I needed to see her just tell reception and she will fit me in!
Well that was end Jan and now results are back and MRI clear she has changed her tune and now gives me the impression that im making it up!!!

Here is list of newer syptoms which is reason she referred me

I think this is all! Sorry long post
You can see why doc referred me to Neuro but she should of really looked back over my medical history and referred me to rheumatologist first and my mum has fibro, her syptoms bit diff from mine.
I've been signed off sick by doc for 6 weeks now and I need to go back work cause of money but my job is lifting allday and im worried im not going to be able to do it! But my company have said I can try part time and must say if it's too much.
If I've put all above in wrong section then cud admin please move my post plz thanks. Do you all think I have fibro? Thanks

:welcome: to the forum tracie :cow-wave: :cow-wave:

Sorry to hear what you've been experiencing and dealing with over time, like lots of us you have quite a collection of symptoms and problems/conditions. Whilst what you have described could be due to FM, it could also be due to a number of other illnesses that share the same range of symptoms, so we can't say if it could be FM I'm afraid   The only person who can give you a definite dx is a suitable medical professional and to get there, I'm afraid it involves yet more appts with GPs/consultants    The best suggestion I can make is to go back and see your GP about the possibility of FM being the reason for your problems and ask about being referred to a rheumatologist/other suitable specialist and see how she reacts. Hopefully she will be open to the possibility and start things off for you :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

WRT to your mum having FM and her symptoms being different to some of yours, altho we share a range of symptoms, FM affects us all very differently which could explain why, if you are eventually dx'd with the condition, why there are the differences. Altho it is only anecdotal evidence at the moment, there are quite a lot of families where several members from different generations display very similar symptoms and problems, which can strongly suggest there could be some sort of hereditary/genetic factor involved :-? :-? :-?

While you decide what will be your next move, stick with us and have a look around the place. The boards are full of info and advice which may help you in some way. Anything you're wondering about, just ask and we'll try to help you with it
