Just diagnosed

Postby dawnpl » Wed Sep 18, 2013 8:57 am

Hi I was diagnosed on Wednesday this week and my mind has been in overdrive ever since. I do unfortunately suffer from a lot of the symptoms but never actually linked them together. Having received the diagnosis and spoken to the consultant the past 17 years have started to make sense. I live in the Lincoln area. Are there any other sufferers in the area.

:welcome: to our little escape from it all Dawn :cow-wave: :cow-wave:

Your mind going into overdrive when you're told you have FM is something most of us have experienced as well, it seems to be part of the process we have to go thru as we start off on our new lives living with FM. You might find you also get a few more thoughts, feelings and emotions churned up as well. It's as if the enormity of what the condition is and the realisation that it's going to be with you for the long haul hits you all together. It's a bit bumpy finding your way thru it, but there usually is a path there for you make your way thru it all and out of the other side.

Anything you want to know about, just ask and we'll try to help you with it :cow-wave: :cow-wave: :cow-wave: :cow-wave:
