Your family Dr. or the pain clinic should be able to tell you if you have fibro. Have you suggested it to them?
If you feel you are getting nowhere, ask to be referred to a rhuematologist.

:welcome: to our FibroFamily Debbie :cow-wave: :cow-wave: Sorry to hear you think you may have fibro :( :( :( :(

As you have already mentioned FM to your GP, and you have been referred elsewhere, the only other thing you could do see about being referred to a Rheumatologist or other suitable specialist with a knowledge of the condition. They should be able to give you a dx, or at the very least some sort of provisional name for what you're going thru, pending further things such as tests, scans etc.

In the meantime, have a look around the boards as they are packed with all sorts of info and advice, and there may be some ideas to try out that could help make things a little easier, more comfortable for you :cow-wave: :cow-wave: :cow-wave:

When you click to reply to a post and the "Post A Reply" box opens up, to the right hand side of the box where you type your message there are a selection of smilies. To add them to your post, all you need to do is clicky on the one(s) you want to use for as many times as the number of smilies you want to add. You'll know that you've got them in place as the code describing each smiley will be on the screen.

Under the selection of smilies on the right hand side, there is a linky that says "view more smilies" when you clicky on it, a new tab/box/window will be opened up with the rest of our collection in it. Again, just clicky on the one(s) you want to add, and then hopefully when you submit your post, it should have them in it :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:
