:welcome: to our little FibroFamily wishes :cow-wave: :cow-wave: :cow-wave:

I've jiffled you over into here as it's a more suitable board with this being your intro post. Sorry to hear how things are, and have been for you, being left in LimboLand with a provisional/suspected dx is always :pull-hair: :pull-hair: :pull-hair: :pull-hair:

I'm afraid it's not easy to say how long it could take for you to get those answers that you're wanting. There are so many variables, factors, and possibilities than can be involved, it's probably easier to answer the question "How long is a piece of string??" What happens next could be dependant on the results of your latest blood tests. If they show indicators for possible conditions/problems, then you may need to have additional tests/investigations, and/or be referred to a clinic/dept specialist or consultant. As there are a number of other conditions which share the same spectrum of symptoms with FM, I hope you'll appreciate that it could take time to have each one looked into.

If your test results come back within normal/expected ranges, then your GP may feel it would be better for you to be referred to a suitable specialist/consultant to have their provisional/suspected dx confirmed, which again will take time to come thru and happen.

Sorry it's not the answer you're wanting/hoping for, but with something like FM, everything takes time to come about due to the dx having/needing to be made by a process of exclusion as, currently, there is no test available that shows the presence of FM.

In the mean time, have a bit of a looky and a read around the boards as they are full of all sorts of info and advice. With how you are feeling at the moment, you might want to consider having a a looky at the board. It might give you some ideas about the sorts of things used to manage FM that you could go back with to your GP to see if they might be suitable for you to try.

It sounds like your current GP is taking steps in the right direction towards getting you some answers, so hopefully things will start gathering pace for you :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

There are a few on here with osteo alongside FM. When you have a moment, you could try using the Search box in the top right corner of each page to see what comes up about having both conditions together. You never know, there may be some helpful suggestions that could help make things a little more manageable for you.

A number of embers have vitamin deficiencies so that may be related, not sure about the cholesterol though, I have removed your duplicate post to stop any confusion :-D

I am a fibro fighter not a fibro sufferer. I will keep fighting from the minute I get up til the minute I go to bed.
