Hi Zita - and a big welcome to you!

Atleast end of March isn't too far away at the moment, and wishing you the very best of luck!

Hi I am also new to this site but have found it very interesting. I have numerous health issues, Thyroid, Diabetes, high blood pressure, Hiatus hernia, a bowel problem. I had a new hip last year and was doing well. After Christmas I was told I had had a small stroke, after reading some of the messages on here I am wondering if it was my Poly myalgia I had a very bad flu like virus in November and could not shake it off, then I had a constant headache and pain up the neck. I did not have any energy, it was only 4 weeks ago when I was in so much pain my GP did the blood test and it was more than double what it should be so was put on Steroids. I must say they have helped with the pain, and a new blood test has shown an improvement. I think It was the virus that started this all off. Does anyone know the best time of day to take the steroids, as with all my other medication I am getting so much bloating and my blood sugars go up too high. I am taking them mid morning as I have to leave 2 hours after other medication.
It does help to read other posts
