Just diagnosed from co. Antrim

Postby Puddleduck » Wed Feb 10, 2016 3:28 am

Hi all,
I've had symptoms for years but just received a diagnosis a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to come to terms with it. Over the last 6-8 months I have been finding it harder to carry on, and needing more help. Hoping to get ideas of what I can do to ease the pain so I can get on with life.
Looking forward to finding some answers.

At least now you have a diagnosis you should be able to work with your gp to try to find medication which suits you. Then it seems to be about adapting to your situation. People talk a lot about pacing and it helps to think about what you can do perhaps finding new hobbies. Anyway there's lots of advice on these forums. Good luck.
