New to the fm gang

Postby Fourheads » Wed Mar 30, 2016 9:10 pm

Hello. After months of pain, fatigue, poor coordination, and confusion, my rheumatologist declared I have fibromyalgia.
I've lost the job I loved, been a rubbish mother, dog hasn't been walked properly and the house looks like we've been burgled.
It could have been worse- some of the tests were for life limiting illnesses so I try to keep positive.

So here I am, joining a club I didn't know I wanted to belong to.
I'm in rural Essex, middle aged, short and fat and trying to find a new normal.

Any advice on what to expect would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums :welcome:

Try to pace yourself, do a little when you can and also try to find the positives in your day.

Keep smiling :-D
