Hi thanks for your quick responses, I am really worried about what is going to happen to me, i am still mobile although any form of movement or sitting for a short period of time causes pain and stiffness. I cant even feed my baby because of the pain in my shoulders, hand and elbow. Will i get so bad that i wont be able to walk or move without help. I worry because even feeding myself is starting to cause pains in my arm. I also have a borderline personality disorder so my mind runs away with itself all the time and i find it hard to keep things in perspective. What has everyone else gone through in terms of fibro developments, What should i expect.

Hi Steph please try not to worry everyone is different, some people continue to work and socialise with FM affecting their lives only slightly, others suffer a lot with a great deal of disability. There is no way anyone can predicit how or to what degree you will be affected. One thing is guarenteed though :yikes: :yikes: Stress and worry make FM worse and can send you into a flare. So if you can try to keep yourself on an even keel so that you can keep your condition as stable as possible sending you some :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :flowers:

:welcome: Hi Steph. as others have said Fibro does different things to different people. I think you have enough to deal with right now, so don't try and work out the future at this point.
I used to find propping the baby on a pillow on my lap helped me feed them without having to take their full weight in my arm. Also a pillow behind my back helped a little so i could feed them.
I did try a sling but that really hurt, but it might work for you.
One of those huge V shape cushions was a lifeline at night with a fussy baby.

Discuss meds with your doc. I wasn't allowed Amitrip for years because of pregnancy and breastfeeding - this annoyed me because I know women who have safely used ami for migraine throughout preg and breatfeeding because it's a low dose. See what your doc thinks- if yiou have a good one.

All the best [chocolate]
