What is HYPERMOBILITY new one to me
I have FM (almost everywhere), Osteo Arthitus(in most joints-worst is HIP), very flat feet - have been told this can cause more problems with back.
I also suffer with Depression, Anxiety and Phobia

I do sort of cope, but i dont no how

Hi Ann

hypermobility has been described as many things but basically it means that your joints over extend themselves for example i have hypermobility in my knees (they bend backover instead of being straight when fully extended) i can bend my fingers further back towards the back of my hand then is normal, i can touch my thumbs to the inside of my wrist, my back and neck also over extend (which means they curve more then they should)
It is quite common but it is also a muscle weakness.

I have a mood disorder which swings between highs and bad bouts of depression too link with hypermobility fm, disalignment of spine and unusual muscle weakness that cant be explained even by fm. hey do they think i could get money off teh goverment if i offered myself up for medical science?
