anyone tried a sports bra?

Postby Min » Thu Mar 11, 2010 3:16 pm

has anyone found a sports bra helpful to prevent pain please, & do they help?

I have incredible pain & also indentations on my shoulders at present where my (properly fitted and wide strapped ) bra straps dig in. Ordinary bras all hurt under the cups too, even non-wired ones . Although I've bought bra strap cushions and back extenders I just can't wear a bra for pain at present (not a good look at my age and size).

thanks

tried em - still pain. must admit i have given up worrying what it looks like - i dont wear a bra except on those very odd occasions where i have breast pain that is relieved by support - and they are very rare. the pain from sports bras isnt as bad but i still find them uncomfortable.

I tried them but it was as bad as an ordinary one... the only thing I have foun, short of going without anything which is what I usually do... is a vest with under boob support. They don't hurt because they don't go round my ribs and back.

With breastfeeding I have had little choice unless people wanted to get squirted in the eye (I have major over supply issues lol). Also, I get really sweaty and find that unless I wear a bra, everything under my boobs gets sore.

The only bras I can wear are those sporty black ones from primark. They don't look too hot but they are pretty comfortable and definitely more comfortable than anything else I have tried.

i cant wear a bra for the same reason , the pain just isnt worth it , but then i dont have big boobs so its not a health issue in that regard . if its good enough for that ginger lady gardner famous for her bralessness on tv ( sorry cant rember name ) its good enough for me .
