Tiger Balm

Postby HillFog » Wed Jun 23, 2010 4:49 pm

Hi to all,
this might sound strange but when i have a bad "stiffy" fibro attack my mum told me to use red tiger balm as she use's it for her rhumy. By god does it take the swords from my sholders and spine, one word of warning wear an old t shirt to bed other wise it makes the duvet look like you've had a battle with a used nappy.
Never got on with deep heat as i get a reaction.

Hope this gives other people ideas

Hi,
I use tiger balm quite a lot, especially when my neck gets really sore, I find it really helpful but everyone is different. I also use a hot water bottle (pretty much every day!) which really helps too. :)

I have used the White tiger balm and thought it was excellent. Anything is worth a try especially for the moments when we can't use a hot water bottle. I had however forgotten about it as not used in ages so am pleased to be reminded-another post it note to put on cupboard

I have tried it before but it did not do anything for me but do know of others that it has helped.
Everything is worth a try though.
