how many more thing???

Postby thebryans » Wed Nov 09, 2011 2:51 pm

Well now as well as fibro I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and have to use a cpap machine, which is horrendous, also breathing probs in the day, which I am waiting to see specialist about, Plus after a strange attack the doc thinks I had a mild TIA and have been refferred to the TIA clinic, All my family appart from my hubby, think its in my head, even though I have had all the tests, Just wonder how many more thing they are gonna say I have, Its driving me crazy, and depressing me more and more,
sorry to be such a bore, but didnt know where else to turn to as I am at the end of my tether,
moving house on 19th as got to move into somewhere with facilities to suit my needs, ( ground floor flat so no stairs,)
anyways hope everyone else is ok,
lots soft hugs
Loraine :hugs: :hugs:

A gentle hug from me (says she hardly able to move today  )
I kinda know how you feel hun, I seem to have times when anything and almost everything seems to be wrong with my body and I know how frustrating and depressing it can be
Remember all the time you have the internet and this forum you will always have someone that understands, I think most of us fibromites have people around us that dont have a clue just how much we have to cope with on a daily basis, I had a neighbour say to me the other day oh for gods sake is there anything that isnt wrong with you! My reply was oh yes I can assure you my patience with rude people is working perfectly thank you. it took a while to work out what i meant
PS Good luck with the move

Thanks Shazq & Ouchy.
Yes my patience with some people is wearing very thin, :banghead: :hit1: My daughter in law is heading for it at the moment, she told my son and 2 grandaughters that i am a hypercondriac, and need to be sectioned, :nono: She is so rude, and thats someone who did her nurse training and looked after eldery people, so times I want to knock 3 shades of crap out of her, :shooting: but then I think why stoop to her level of rudeness ignorance bad manners and lack of respect,
At least the little ones listen when I explain why nana cant do thing with them,

the move should go well as my wonderfull hubby does it all, like he does everything else for me, He is one in a million,

I have found that the people that say horrid things tend to be the kind of people that resent you not doing all the things that they want you do do for them, they are love you to bits until the day you say, I am sorry but I cant, then the selfish streak in them takes over and you are the worst thing ever in the world.
I used to (and still do sometimes) get upset but more often now I think oh numpty get on with it, call me what ever you like, those people that truly matter to me know and understand why I say sorry I cant so dont let the numpties in this world get you down Lorraine they really are not worth wasting much needed energy on x

hi all,
well been using the cpap machine now for 4 night, yuk yuk yuk, its bloody awful, 1st night after about 90mins, got up and was sick as a pig, 2nd night not much better except felt sick but wasnt and god my chest ached like hell, 3nd night just as bad, and last night managed to get round 3 hours sleep with it on, but woke having a panic attack, and feeling like an elephant was sitting on my chest, so feeling real crap now as hardly slept all week, dont think I can cope wearing a cpap, does anyone else have one of these, and if so how do you cope with it, xx

So sorry to hear you have to wear that to bed, must be awful for you. I know what you mean about others though, my own daughter sent me a text the other night saying when was the last time i had the girls over night as her MIL has them more than me. I used to have them every week over night and take them out regularly, but now I find it difficult. People are so horrid at times. Hope your move goes well for you hun :hugs:

Hi Hannah,
thanks for the comforting thought, yes apart from my hubby and fellow sufferers on this site I dont think anyone else has any idea what we go thro every day, I am just glad I found this site.
But lets hope one day a cure or real help is found,
No I dont see 2 of my grandaughters very much, but thankfully the younest one is here twice a week, and could be more, and her mummy ( my other sons ex, is much more understanding, )

Hiya Loubie.

Yes they have shown me how to use the cpap, I have had the newest machine and the soft jelly type that just fits into the nostrils, I tried 3 different types. I couldnt use the nose & mouth one, that just sent me into a wild panic, the smaller one thats fits over the nose was a bit better so the consultant had me try the smallest most innovasive one, which I had, but it still makes me panic and feel worse, will stick with it for next 2 weeks till I go back then discuss it with them, dont laugh makes me think of when I was a kid and went to the dentist and had gas to remove teeth, they allways had to hold me down to put the mask on me,
How long has Bill had his cpap,???

move going fine, hubyy the sweetie has almost packed, and just last few things to do, I am gonna go across to my parents whilst hubby sorts out at new flat lol,

soft hugs :hugs: :hugs:
