Liver is looking good.

Thought I would share some semi-good news I got today.

My liver is looking healthier!

I had my six months review today. I had bloods taken two weeks ago and the levels are almost normal. The one I think that was really a concern was the "normal" level is 40-50 and I was up in the high 200s. I think I am now back down in the 80s. Weirdly being 20times above the average is a cause of concern, but isn't majorly bad it's when they are in the thousands! Bit of a weird scale there.

I also had a ultrasound scan and my liver is looking healthier. It was bad for fatty deposits and scar tissue but is looking better now. I've lost some weight but still got more to go, but I'm not actively trying. Doing portion control and cutting out of the sweet nector of the gods called Irn Bru! I do want to lose atleast a stone by the Edinburgh Fringe.

So all in all my chance of needing a biopsy is "looking like it's not needed."

Just back for a review in a years time! Let's hope I remember as no reminders are sent out!

Still not really sure what caused all my issues. Although heavy drinking student life style is most likely to blame.

Cheers.
I know I'm a bit vague but honestly can't remember what level was high in my blood test. I want to say it's one of the enzymes.
As one of the test I had to do a 24hour urinary collection to test for copper levels.
