Blueberry I have a lot of pain in both hips so your doc could be right, all the stress of the ESA and your health is probably making the fog worse and that is why things are going wrong and the more things go wrong the worse things will be.

So as you have been to see your doc already, I would say, try to relax and put all the mess of the ESA to the back of your mind (very difficult to do I know) and then use some heat to try to relieve the pain in your hip, and when you spill things or do anything else daft then just take a deep breath and start again. When you cant remember something dont try to force it, think about something else and you may find the thing you were trying to remember will pop into your head :fingerscrossed: :hugs: :hugs:

Hi all, I have loads of pain in my hips especially when trying to sleep at night (can only sleep on my side doh!) And if walking further than I should.
The worst factor for me is the damp (blimmin English summer) I was walking fine in work today until I walked out the door to my car, then as it had been raining I ended up hobbling and in crippling pain in my hips across the carpark... No wonder people think I'm putting it on!

Hip pain might also be arthritis, even the very young can get arthritis, and it's especially active during wet weather like this. Sounds suspiciously like arthritis if it's getting better with warmth.

Hi Blueberry,

Just to reassure you.... i get hip pain in both hips too..... it's one of the bodies main joints... so one of the sites that Fyrbro loves (unfortunately for us  ). Hopefully it will ease once the weather warms up and stops messing around lol!

In the meantime, hot baths really help and if you can buy or order some soothing bath salts even better (I have some Himilayan bath salts which help ease the pain temporarily :-) ).

Also rest ok?

Hip Pain

Postby mcconnellla » Fri Jul 27, 2012 12:02 am

This was one of my original problems before all the other problems... I can get it so bad that I can't put pressure on when walking this causes me to be bed bound when really bad. It can be one or both. My nickname at work is penguin! I hobble along. I have also had my arthritis and rheumatoid markers checked at the start of it all and they were fine. What I find a god sent is Epsom salts. I put loads In baths do
Erinyes I could have three baths in a day but it really helps. Main ingredient of this is magnesium which is good for pain. Good luck xx

Hi Do any of you feel quite nauseous with the hip pain etc? I am worrying that my hip pain is something to do with the bowel prob instead as i have lost alot of weight.

Hi
Hip pain seems to be quite common in fibro. I find my Tens machine helps with the pain. A hot water bottle can help too but not in this heat we have been having
