Dermoid ovary cyst

Postby Bebbe » Sat Sep 29, 2012 3:12 pm

Hi everyone, I have to have a 5cm dermoid cyst on my ovary removed through keyhole surgery on the 9th of October then my tribunal is on friday the 12th of october. I was wondering if any one has had the same or similar operation could you walk around on the 3rd day? obviously I have to attend my tribunal should I change the date of my operation?

hi, i have had keyhole surgery for cysts and other things but all pre fm, but i was out same day and ok to walk on same day and was back at work in a week,

but as i say it was pre fm,

i wouldnt cancell your op but explain to the tribunal that you have just had surgery,

if you cancel any of them you may be waiting a lot longer than you should,
hope all gose well for both,
take care xx

Thanks for the reply, I have decided to arrange another date for the operation as I have to much on at the moment on Monday I have to attend ingeus for a health and wellbeing meeting that will put me in bed for Tuesday, Wednesday I'm at the hospital for a camera down my throat to look at my stomach I have decided to be sedated so I will need a couple of days to recover I usually suffer from bad fatigue on a sunday when the weeks events catch up with me :(

I had the endoscopy done yesterday I'm glad I opted for sedation it was still a very unpleasant experience  that I hope I never have to have done again, anyway they discovered a ulcer that has healed in my duodeunum and I have to take tablets to reduce my stomach acid for a while.
