Hi,

I've noticed that no one has mentioned Sjogren's syndrome. I know its enough having everything else but was just wondering if there was a connection to fibro too.

I had a total hysterectomy in December and cannot seem to tolerate HRT. I've noticed now that I have dry eyes, mouth, other parts, sore joints etc. It seems that Sjogrens is the next most common auto immune condition after R/A and that its usually diagnosed after the age of 40 or the menopause.

I'm at the gp tomorrow and I'm going to ask to be tested for it. There must definately be a connection to low oestrogen and my symptoms but apparantley Sjogrens is under diagnosed because it can mimic other conditions like hypothyroidism which I also have and so do a lot of other members.

I thought my dry mouth was just because of the Ami I take but its definately got worse

I think I win the award for the shortest list.

FM
and I am very mildly asthmatic, no brown inhaler - just a blue one that usually goes out of date before I use it up. Probably used on average once a month.
